Volunteering with Veterans Legal Justice is a great way to give back to your community and to show, not just state, your appreciation for America's men and women in uniform. Whether your skills lie in outreach, intake, fundraising, or pro bono legal representation, we want to work with you. Please reach out to us about volunteer opportunities, and we will find a way to connect.
Currently, our greatest need is for intake volunteers and pro bono attorneys who are willing to accept cases on behalf of Veterans Legal Justice. There are many veterans living in the State of New Hampshire, each with their own unique set of problems, and it is our sincerest hope that we can continue to meet that demand.

Intake Volunteers
Conducting intake interviews is easy and can be a fun and rewarding experience. If you wish to become an intake volunteer, we will teach you everything you need to know, from asking the right kinds of questions to finding the right attorney for a client. One of our members will walk you through our training, including an example or two, so you can start leading with confidence right away.

Pro bono Attorney Network
Most or all of our attorney network is comprised of individuals who have reached out to us directly to express interest in joining our cause. They are bound by a shared passion for increasing access to justice and a desire to help veterans, service members, and their families.

In addition to helping veterans, there is tremendous value in pro bono work. The New Hampshire Bar Association is small and, likewise, intimately connected. Pro bono work is a great chance to not only help someone in need, but also demonstrate your commitment to the noble practice of law, the Bar, and the State of New Hampshire.
