After extensive investigation, VLJ’s founders determined there was a great need for legal services for veterans in New Hampshire. Right now, over 99,000 veterans live in our state, many of whom are retired and living in poverty.

 

VLJ is the only organization in New Hampshire specifically providing comprehensive legal services to veterans. We strive to provide top quality service to those who have bravely served our country at no-cost.

 

Our impact is far reaching:

 

• VLJ serves 200+ veterans each year, and has thus far served 2,000 veterans from all 10 counties in New Hampshire.

• VLJ resolves a wide range of legal matters for our veterans including family law, landlord-tenant disputes, domestic violence, and select criminal matters.
